Group Courses

Learning alongside other students can be motivating, fun, and effective. Our online Arabic group courses bring together small classes in a live virtual classroom, where you practice with fellow learners under the guidance of an experienced native tutor. In about 12 weeks, you can make clear progress toward speaking Arabic with confidence, whether you are a beginner, an intermediate learner, or an advanced student.

Benefits of Learning Arabic in a Group

  • Small Classes: With only 8 to 10 learners per group, your tutor still has time to give each student personal attention.
  • Active Participation: Every session includes speaking and listening activities with your classmates, so you use Arabic from the start.
  • Clear Milestones: Each level has its own goal. Beginners work toward survival Arabic, intermediate learners toward confident conversation, and advanced learners toward professional fluency.
  • Useful Skills: You learn Arabic you can use in daily life, at work, or in academic settings.
  • Easy to Join: Take part from anywhere, with class times planned to suit different schedules.

Course Format and Study Hours

  • Class length: 45 to 90 minutes per session
  • Weekly study time: 2 to 4 hours
  • Monthly total: Up to about 16 hours of guided study
  • Group size: 8 to 10 learners

Classes cover speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing, with cultural topics woven into the lessons along the way.

Arabic Varieties Taught in Our Group Courses

You can study the formal language, a spoken dialect, or a mix of both:

  • Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)
  • Levantine Arabic (Palestinian, Jordanian, Syrian, Lebanese)
  • Egyptian Arabic
  • Gulf Arabic
  • Iraqi Arabic
  • Maghrebi Arabic (Moroccan, Algerian, Tunisian)

Many learners pair MSA with a spoken dialect to get comfortable in both formal and everyday situations.
